To mark the occasion, we’re opening the doors to our Bakewell stores for a celebratory Open Weekend on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October – and you're warmly invited.
Whether you're a long-time customer or a new visitor, we’d be delighted to invite you to a weekend filled with exclusive offers, brand showcases, and a celebration of our community.

Our original Bridge Street store, the iconic Sporting Showroom and the charming Bateman Court in Bakewell.

Founded in 1965 by John Brocklehurst, Brocklehursts began its journey from humble beginnings, operating out of the back of a Land Rover that John used to visit local farmers and attend agricultural shows. Over the decades, the business has evolved and grown into the highly respected and trusted name in premium country wear that you all know and love today. From our base nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Peak District, we’ve remained proudly independent and family-run, committed to delivering exceptional quality, outstanding service, and honouring the rich heritage of the brands we stock.

A: There is ample public parking available in and around Bakewell town centre, which is just a short walk from all our locations. We also have designated customer parking spaces at our Sporting Showroom on Matlock Street.
