The Hall family have been manufacturing socks since 1882, in Leicestershire. The original aim for ‘Honest’ John Hall:
To provide warm, long-lasting hosiery for the farming community, which he grew up in. In 1892 he produced his first pair of socks, a pure Scottish wool, grey half-hose.
